Meribel Resort Info

As the Three Valley's middle sister, Meribel is blessed not only with a superb location, but with good looks as well. Built almost entirely in chalet style using traditional local stone and wood, it exudes an authentic, albeit lively, village charm that many other resorts lack.

Particularly popular with the Brits, the bustling village centre boasts an excellent choice of shops, restaurants and bars, including "Dick's Tea Bar" and "Le Pub". Another plus is the large sports centre with an indoor ice rink, heated swimming pool, bowling alley and various other facilities.

If you are interested in lessons, it is now possible to book online with New Generation, one of our partner ski schools in resort.

Beginner skiers generally meet their instructor in the centre of the resort at the Chaudanne before quickly progressing to the ideal nursery slopes. Meribel is excellent for intermediate skiers with plenty of blue and red runs to explore as it is in the heart of the 3 Valleys with easy links to the adjoining valleys. For advanced skiers, Meribel's Mont Vallon telecabine is the first step to finding challenging on and off-piste terrain, and snowboarders of all levels enjoy the area, from well groomed pistes for beginners to challenging off-piste for the more experienced rider.
